Hossa Drops The Gloves

You have to love a sport where a superstar will drop the gloves in the middle of a game and throw some punches. I was pretty surprised to see Marian Hossa get into a fight; but I was even more surprised to see that he could hold his own. Not a bad fight for such skilled players. It’s kind of like saying: “you’re not that obnoxious for a New Yorker.” Ah, the never ending joys of back-handed compliments.

This is just another reason that the Red Wings are once again one of the best teams in the league. I wonder if the Penguins wished they could have signed Hossa right about now. Hell, they probably wish the could have Ryan Suter right now too!

It’s nice to see players step up and do what needs to be done. It only could have been better if it was against the Pens!!
