Kipper’s Ridiculous Save

This was supposed to be yesterday’s video, but I was blinded by the Alexander Ovechkin goal against Montreal. Please accept my sincerest apologies. Just like you probably won’t see a better goal all season, this very likely will end up being the Save of the Year.

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. I doubt Miikka Kiprusoff is going to try to make it part of his daily routine to make diving saves with the shaft of his goal stick. If he does, I think he’s going to give Iron Mike Keenan a heart attack.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say he was out of position for Wellwood’s shot!

BallHype: hype it up!
