Ovechkin Does It Again

by Matt Reitz on February 19, 2009

Just to remind the rest of the NHL what he’s capable of, Alexander Ovechkin netted another jaw-dropping goal last night. In one motion, he pulls a 360 while passing off the boards (to himself), around a defenseman, used his speed to pull away from the rest of the Canadiens, went down on the way to the net and still managed to score on Carey Price. It’s plays like this that make Center Ice worth the $129 every season.

Enjoy!

BallHype: hype it up!

When he’s not shoving a mic in the face of NHLers or explaining why home teams should wear white, he’s usually trying to figure out what song to play next on his iPod. It’s a never-ending job.
