Nice to see a Hawks fan and a Red Wings fan agree on something. I love Wiz, met him a few times & as “Motor City,” was saying a good ol' Michigan kid.
Heck even Wiz himself in a press conference apologized as he put it for injuring “his friend.”
He also said he didnt think the suspension was fair, (I thought it was); but really what angered me most was Haywards “selling it,” comment. I mean even Ahlers who is a “homer,” himself was like uh wait a minute. Then the attempted justification as it was the same as the Perry hit. That was just ridiculous.
All I gotta say is I am really getting tired of Haywards mouth…not even worth watching the Ducks games.

Watching the FS Ducks replay on Youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtSx2z_CPKQ ) is just sickening. Brian Hayward has to be, hands down, the biggest douchebag calling NHL games. He actually claims that Seabrook is "selling it"! Unbelievable....

Just so everybody knows, I live in Detroit and have been a Wings fans since the 70's. My team's most heated rival has always been the Blackhawks. On top of that, James Wisniewski is a local boy (Canton, Michigan... one of Detroit's suburbs). With that being said, Wisniewski should be suspended at least ten games. Any clear-headed hockey fan can differentiate between a legal hit (Seabrook on Perry) and a blatant headshot that only had one purpose - to separate said head from body. It's a clear intent to injure another NHL player. Disgusting and symptomatic of the lack of respect for one another that many players have in this new NHL (thanks, Bettman and Campbell!).

I can't believe the refs didn't call a major for that play (charging, high-stick, elbowing, boarding, or interference - take your pick)... oh, wait a minute - the ref was Paul Devorski. That explains it all.

I'm not a Sharks fan. But I have to completely agree with this article, I mean I have heard some “homers,” in my time. But Hayward and Ahlers take the cake. Especially Hayward, I mean just because you were a crappy goalie (for the Sharks) does not mean you have to match that, with the same level of announcing. Hayward has always come off as a nice guy, but the things he says I mean I was watching the Ducks/Hawks game tonight Seabrook gets plowed unconscious leaves the game injured and Hayward says him passing out is FAKING. This is habitual for Hayward with any opponent, and its both embarassing and nauseating. A perfect job for Hayward is one where he keeps his mouth shut and doesnt need good reflexes too bad people keep giving him the wrong job.

Wow! This is just another reason why I dislike the Mighty Ducks and Emilio Estevez(wait he’s not really their coach, right?) so much! And no Mighty Ducks changing your colors to black wont make the duck seem more fierce or intimidating. Go back to the green, orange, and white much more disney and kid friendly. Thanks.
