It’s the NHL Trade Deadline and hockey fans all over are anxiously awaiting to see how their GMs are going to reshape their team. On that note, here are all of the 2010 Trade Deadline deals.

In yet another trade by the Coyotes, they sent defenseman Andres Eriksson to the New York Rangers for goaltending prospect Miika Wiikman and the Rangers 2011 7th round pick.
The Coyotes added depth by picking up Petteri Nokelainen from division rival Anaheim. In return, the Ducks received a 6th round pick from Phoenix.
Battle of Alberta combatants swap players as defenseman Steve Staios went to the Flames and Aaron Johnson went to Edmonton. The Oilers also picked up a 3rd round pick (either 2010 or 2011). (Flames Insider)
The made a move for the here-and-now by acquiring Stephane Yelle and Harrison Reed for Cedrick Lalonde-McNicoll and Colorado’s 6th round pick in 2010.

In an exchange of high priced defensemen, Ryan Whitney goes to the Oilers; while Lubomir Visnovsky is headed to Anaheim in return. The Oilers also get a 6th round pick in the deal. (Battle of California)

The Kings picked up forward Fredrik Modin from the Columbus Blue Jackets for a conditional 7th round pick (Puck-Rakers)
The Maple Leafs were able to acquire a few draft picks (4th rounder and 7th rounder) and defenseman Matt Jones for pending unrestricted free agent Lee Stempniak.
The Capitals re-acquire Milan Jurcina (who was traded earlier in the year as a package for Jason Chimera) from the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 6th round pick. (Puck-Rakers) By the way, Jurcina is out for 4-6 weeks with a sports hernia.
Buffalo Sabres ship Clarke McArthur to the Atlanta Thrashers for a 3rd and a 4th round pick.
After a few teams were interested, the Sabres acquired Raffi Torres from the Columbus Blue Jackets for defenseman Nathan Paetsch and a 2nd round pick. (Sabres Edge)

Mathieu Schneider continues his quest to play for every single Western Conference team by joining the Phoenix Coyotes via trade. The Coyotes sent Sean Zimmerman and 6th round pick to the Cancucks in exchange. (The Fourth Period)
Detroit and the New York Rangers decided they wanted to swap AHLers. The Rangers grabbed Kris Newbury from the Detroit Red Wings for Jordan Owens. (TSN)

The New York Islanders traded defenseman Andy Sutton to the Ottawa Senators for a 2nd round draft pick. The pick in the 2010 draft previously belonged to the San Jose Sharks (acquired in the Dany Heatley trade) (Hockey Or Die)
