This time of year, there are plenty of articles telling us about prospects for the NHL Draft, mock drafts, and draft needs for each team. But what do the players actually look like on the ice? Today, we look at some of the best forwards available.

For the visual learners out there, here are some quick videos the NHL produces on a few of the top prospects for the 2010 Entry Draft. Not only are the videos a good resource when getting ready for the draft, but they’re also good to check out after your favorite team makes its 1st round selection so you can see exactly what your team got (sorry Leafs fans, 3rd round selection).

Never fear—we’ll have the defensemen and goaltenders later this week. If you have any good videos of the prospects, don’t hesitate to drop a link in the comments. We’ll keep this page updated with all of the best videos we can find!

When he’s not shoving a mic in the face of NHLers or explaining why home teams should wear white, he’s usually trying to figure out what song to play next on his iPod. It’s a never-ending job.
