Western Conference Semifinals Schedule announced

Phoenix Coyotes v Nashville Predators

Finally, the second round of the Western Conference playoffs are set. No, not the teams participating–that was the easy part. No, the NHL has finally pieced together the schedule for the second round. Sort of. We won’t find out the details (including start times and television information) until the first round of the Eastern Conference comes to a conclusion on Thursday night.

Just going out a limb here, but NBC and the NHL probably want the New York Rangers (and their market) to find a way to win Game 7 against the Ottawa Senators. If you’re wondering why the Kings vs. Blues series doesn’t start until Saturday, the league had to work around a Van Halen concert at Scottrade Center on Sunday, April 29. Apparently, they weren’t thinking about the NHL Playoffs when the wrote: “Right here, right now.”

For now, here’s the “full” schedule for each of the second round series in the Western Conference. And by “full,” we mean the first four games, no actual start times, and no broadcast announcements. But at least we know which days the games will be played on, right?
