Los Angeles Kings goalie Quick makes a save on New Jersey Devils Ponikarovsky in Game 4 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals in Los Angeles

People will complain about coverage during the Stanley Cup playoffs because, well, that’s what people do. But there’s one thing that CBC gets right for every game, every year: the opening montages. Whether you’re a Devils fans, Kings fan, hockey fan, or even a hockey hater, these are the type of videos that can get just about any sports fan going.

Take your time and check them out. And just think, when the series is over and these opening videos come to an end, we still get that final retrospective video for the entire playoffs.

Who says these playoffs are boring?
