Amanda Fortier
I am as Canadian as they come. My dad is in the military and as a result, I’ve lived all over Canada. I was raised as a Habs fan though, and that loyalty runs deep. I was thrilled when my studies brought me to Montreal, where I completed a PhD (in Human Genetics, I know you’re all wondering!) and now work at a hospital. I love being so close to the Habs and being surrounded by the awesome fans that bleed the bleu, blanc, rouge in Montreal, even if I don’t get to go to very many games. I’m also one of the most accepting people as far as fans of other teams go – I have really good reasons why the Habs are my team and I know that you all have equally awesome reasons why you cheer for your team! (So please don’t be mean to me, I’m also a big baby – especially when it comes to trash talking and watching the replays of vicious hits!)
