Ryan Hackett

I grew up playing hockey in the Milwaukee youth hockey system, taking the train by myself as early as 6 years old to meet my dad in Chicago for Blackhawks’ games. Now, living in the Windy City, not only do I never miss a Hawks game, but I’m risking a serious case of carpal tunnel syndrome cruising between every game available to me (legally and otherwise). My loves are hockey, music, sports, and a drink or two (the last one’s professional as well as personal). I’ll usually let you know what album I’m listening to during the composition of each blog post, as hockey and music are forever intertwined. Also, there will likely be medium to heavy doses of sarcasm and attempted humor in my writing, so take it with the necessary prescription of salt.
